Our Story
Intention Health Care, formerly known as Essen House Calls, was founded in 2005 to bring physician-led medical care directly into the homes of New York's most vulnerable patients. Vesta Healthcare was founded in 2018 to make aides and caregivers part of the care team. The Intention Health Care brand was launched in 2025 when Essen House Calls and Vesta Health Care merged, creating a comprehensive national home-based care model.
